George Bush called it cowardly, sitting at his desk in the White House while soldiers die in Iraq. So what's he gonna do now ? Bomb Pakistan ?

Benazir Bhutto

The killing of Benazir Bhutto sounds like another JFK. A suicide bomber provided cover while a sniper shot her. At a time when her security staff were strangely lax.

British troops are launching a major offensive in Afghanistan.
Does this mean thousands of civilians will be murdered like in Fallujah ? -

Kylie Minogue is back on tour after conquering breast cancer. Well done her! But its hardly the stuff of role models when you got what she got. Do it on the NHS. Now that would be an achievement worth celebrating. -

So at long last Saddam gets his sentence for all the people he murdered. How about sentences for all the soldiers who carried out his orders to kill, gas and maim ? How about punishment for the Baa'th Party cronies who didn't have the courage to oppose him ? How about censuring the oil companies that traded with Saddam when they could have brought down his dictatorship with economic embargoes ? How about justice on the western powers that supplied him with the weaponry to rule with an iron fist ? How about exposing the agencies that taught him how to rule with an iron fist ? For every tyrant there is a support structure that keeps him in place. -

Tony Blair's antics got me to thinking about economic penalties for misuse of environmental resources....... Could the world be a better place if Third World nations eg Ethiopa could levy huge fines on the developed world for wasting food ? -

Just how is a new tax a solution to Global Warming ? Taxation will only alleviate the problem if tax money is used to prevent or clean up pollution. Our elected pratts are using tax as a punishment stick, as if we are a nation of brainless imbeciles who need to be forced to be environmentally conscious. What is really going on here is the Master Manipulator's art of coaxing the public into accepting a new way of being robbed. Let's see how the key features fit together into a plan; (a) the overall strategy is to present a problem then offer a solution to that problem. Global warming is now being described as the biggest threat facing the planet. But its not a new problem. It has always been a serious issue, ever since the pollution started. It will still be a major issue for years to come, regardless of whatever corrective action scheme is embarked upon now. But it serves the strategy to make global warming the hot topic of the day. (b) someone in government raises the issue in order to make it the talking point. (c) the mass media follow the lead and discuss the government's 'stance' on the 'issue' (d) an in-depth 'scientific report' is produced. This is fodder for the academics/intellectuals who won't be convinced by a few newspaper headlines. They need to be shown that someone has done some serious scientific research. Whether proper research has been done is largely immaterial - most of them won't actually read the report. Especially if it is 700 pages long, eg the Stern Report. ( Even scientists, nerds and professors can find better things to do with their time! ) (e) the government's choice of action ( taxation ) is hailed as the awful but necessary remedy, without comprehensive discussion of the viable alternatives. The underlying plot is to frighten the public with such a menace that they will be glad that the government is doing something, anything against it. This problem -> fear -> solution scam has been used so many times before its a wonder we still fall for it. Prior to foisting this huge con trick on the nation, there was a small-scale dry run to see how people would react. Richmond. After all, New Labour doesn't want to spark off riots like Thatcher did with her poll tax. -

Telecoms mogul Mohammed Ibrahim has set up a foundation to combat governmental corruption in African states. Among the board of advisors are Tony Blair, Bill Clinton and Paul Wolfowitz ( president of World Bank ). What's that expression - White elephants ? Pink elephants ? -

Indian telephone call centres have been discovered to be dens of sexual activity. The call centre workplace provides a free mixing of the sexes within a generally sexually repressed society. So that's what they're doing while we're hanging on the line. Maybe they should change those recorded messages....... "Please hold the line, your call will be answered as soon as our operators have finished shagging each other senseless." "All our operators are currently busy doing other operators. Please call again later." "Your call will be answered by the least shaggable operator." "Your call will be answered by the next available operator." How private are those cubicles anyway ? It all just goes to show what happens when peoples' natural desires are suppressed. Aha!! I've just realised where all those live sex phone lines are being routed to!
